Newburgh Open Studios

As part of Newburgh’s Open Studios weekend, the Historical Society of Newburgh Bay and the Highlands is proud to host a group exhibition inside the historic 1830 David Crawford House. Featuring the work of seven local artists—Gayle Fedigan, Sandy Brandman, Barb Valentino, Ann Marie Silvani, Joann Johnson, Robert Trondsen, and Katherine Mahoney—this show invites visitors to experience a rich interaction between contemporary art and 19th-century architecture and furnishings. In addition to the group show, our 2025 Historical Society Exhibit will be on view, showcasing a remarkable collection of 1950s photographs of Downing Park by local amateur photographer Louis McTamaney. The Society’s gift shop will also be open throughout the weekend.
