Newburgh Open Studios

Join us as we take part in the Hudson Valley's most walkable studio tour! Crawford House will be showing the work of seven traditional artists in our gift shop.

Enjoy an art exhibition of local artists in the historic 1830 Captain David Crawford House, an impressive neo-classical home decorated in 19th-century splendor. Artists include Joann Johnson, Anne Marie Silvani, Robert Trondsen, Barbara Valentino, Sandra Brandman, Sandy Stenglein and Cathy Cahill.

Throughout the rest of the house, we will exhibit some displays by The Newburgh Project featuring historic Newburgh buildings reimagined in the world of Minecraft, part of an exciting new endeavor to rebuild 1950s Newburgh in a digital landscape. We will also be showing coordinating Lego structures of Newburgh landmarks made by local students.

Light refreshments to be served.  Proceeds from the art sale will benefit the historic society's mission to protect, preserve and promote our local history.
