Perhaps you missed us for our Candlelight Tour! Or maybe you wanted a little more time to explore the Crawford House decorated in all of its holiday splendor! Perhaps you want another chance to mingle with the members of the Historical Society, or you want to sing some holiday favorites! Perhaps you want to share a few old photos with an interested audience! No matter the reason, you should come to our Holiday Open House at Crawford House on Sunday, December 15 from 1-4 pm!
This will be your last chance to see the bedecked Crawford House before the holidays!
Historical Society trustees and volunteers will be around and ready to talk about the Crawford House or Newburgh’s history.
Our Gift Shop will be open with fine gifts and unique history books for thoughtful holiday shoppers.
Our 2024 Exhibit, "From Farm to Ferry: The Art of Charles Keller in Newburgh, 1950-1960" will be open. Prints are available for sale in our gift shop.
We will have several raffles going on through the afternoon.
From 1-3 pm, we will have a Scanning Station set up at the Crawford House. Bring along your old photos, slides or negatives to share and we will digitize them for you! You can then share them with friends and family for the holidays.
Finally, at 3 pm, we will welcome the Newburgh Chorale for a holiday sing along to close out the year!
Light refreshments and holiday beverages will be available.
Come and enjoy the beautiful Crawford House and admire the exquisite nineteenth-century decorations gathered, prepared and assembled by hand by our dedicated team of volunteers.
