2022 Annual Meeting, at the Calvary Presbyterian Church, 120 South Street, Newburgh, NY 12550

The beautifully restored Calvary Presbyterian Church in Newburgh, designed by Frederick Clarke Withers and constructed in 1858, will serve as the venue for the Historical Society’s 2022 Annual Meeting! To mark the recovery of the church after its terrible March 2020 fire as well as our 138th year as an organization, Winthrop Aldrich, the former New York State Commissioner of Historic Preservation will speak on the importance of the history of the city of Newburgh and the rich tapestry of architecture and written record that allows that unique history to be told.

At the meeting, our Board President Samantha Wiley will also review the work we've been doing over the past year and lay out our plans as we move toward 2023. Historical Society members, volunteers and all others who are interested in Newburgh history or in the work of the Society are welcome to attend. Please join us in an inspiring Newburgh space for an unforgettable Annual Meeting!

This is a free event and is open to the general public. Registration is not required, but recommended.
